Our sewer pipe installation service is quick and efficient to provide you with the best results in the Ottawa region. All installations are governed by the local code authority and must be approved through one or more inspections.
The first step of a sewer pipe installation is two-fold: We
determine how far the pipe
needs to go and calculate the
depth of the excavation.
We subtract the ending point elevation from the starting point elevation. This calculation yields the sewer pipe’s drop in elevation.
Trench excavation is a delicate process - we carefully excavate our trenches taking special care around existing utilities. Once we have reached the required depth we place a layer of pipe bedding and compact it to its final grade.
We install the sewer pipe one section at a time. We typically begin at the lowest elevation and carefully work our way to the higher end. After the sewer pipe is fully installed, we conduct a final inspection and the trench is backfilled to complete the project.
